Sustainability Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day zero waste operational procedures and resource recovery protocols
• Assist in the mid and post-show waste sorting process for recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials
• Oversee material sorting to increase resource recovery and diversion from landfills
• Maintain a clean and organized sorting area and support post-show cleanup
• Assist with Front of House and Back of House zero waste initiatives
• Provide oversight for the sustainability crew and step in for the Venue Sustainability Manager when necessary
• Work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, and occasional shifts the day after a show

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and reaching
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
• Comfort working in environments that may involve unpleasant odors or getting dirty
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work late hours
• Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with events or zero waste initiatives is a plus
