Sustainability & Product Compliance Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and implement sustainability and product compliance standards and processes across all product categories.
• Monitor global regulatory developments and translate requirements into actionable implementation plans.
• Drive chemical management and act as a subject matter expert on restricted substances and risk mitigation.
• Strengthen value chain traceability, including supply chain mapping and managing materials certification schemes.
• Design and improve Salomon’s Compliance Management System (CMS), including policies and governance.
• Lead the Salomon Sustainability & Product Compliance Working Group and represent the brand within the Amer Sports network.
• Supervise and mentor a small team of direct reports to build organizational capability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product compliance, sustainability, or responsible product development within the outdoor, sports, automotive, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Deep expertise in product regulations, chemical compliance, and material risk management.
• Proven experience working with materials certification systems and chain-of-custody requirements.
• Strong understanding of traceability systems and supply chain mapping.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams including Quality, Legal, and Sourcing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Textiles, Materials Science, Product Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
• Fluency in both French and English.
