Sustainability & Product Compliance Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and continuously improve sustainability and product compliance standards and processes.
• Ensure materials, components, and finished products comply with global regulations.
• Lead chemical substance management, acting as the expert for chemical compliance and restricted substances.
• Strengthen end-to-end value chain traceability and manage material certification and chain of custody.
• Design and develop a mature Compliance Management System (CMS) for Salomon.
• Coordinate governance and alignment between Salomon and Amer Sports compliance and sourcing teams.
• Supervise and develop a small team of direct reports.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product compliance, sustainability, materials, or responsible product development (Apparel, Footwear, or Outdoor equipment).
• Deep expertise in chemical compliance, material risk management, and product regulations.
• Proven experience working with material certification systems and chain of custody requirements.
• Strong understanding of traceability systems and supply chain mapping.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams including Quality, Legal, and Sourcing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Textiles, Materials Science, Product Engineering, Sustainable Development, or a related field.
• Experience in comparable industries such as automotive or pharmaceuticals.
