Sustainability Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with BAT’s EHS policy and local/national regulations
• Monitor discharges and emissions against regulatory requirements
• Lead EHS activities and support the team on EHS Management System implementation
• Conduct incident recording, accident investigation, and execution of remedial actions
• Maintain good working relationships with local and government regulatory bodies
• Review work practices and identify potential risks for improvement
• Ensure safety of all persons on site through effective implementation of guidelines
• Oversee compound upkeep and hygiene standards for the Akora Khattak Complex

Requirements

• Engineering degree
• 4 to 6 years of experience in production and engineering functions
• Sound knowledge of BAT EHS policies and procedures
• Understanding of risk management principles
• Knowledge of environmental and health & safety national laws
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Motivational and team-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in change management and strategic thinking
• Ability to influence personnel at all levels of an organization
