Sustainability Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainability strategy for U.S. HyCO assets (hydrogen, CO, CO2) to drive business growth.
• Advise customers and internal teams across the full project lifecycle, from early discussions through contracting and operations.
• Shape business development strategy using certifications, incentives, and market positioning.
• Engage with government and public stakeholders to navigate regulatory changes and incentive opportunities.
• Identify and secure low-carbon and biogenic feedstock sourcing strategies.
• Oversee certification and incentive requirements, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
• Partner with internal teams including product management, tax, and operations to align decarbonization efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in sustainability or within the hydrogen, syngas, or CO2 sectors.
• Proven track record of leading complex projects.
• Deep knowledge of global certification standards such as ISCC, RFNBO, SCS, and CFR.
• Expertise in U.S. customer incentives including 45Z, 48E, LCFS, and RINs.
• Experience managing U.S. and Canada incentives such as 45Q, 45V, and CCS ITC.
• Familiarity with global incentive programs like H2Global and CBAM.
