Sustainability Controller

Responsibilities

• Enhance the governance framework over Group sustainability disclosures and reporting, including defining processes, timelines, and control standards.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on sustainability reporting topics, serving as a point of contact for stakeholders regarding metrics and disclosures.
• Perform content and analytical reviews of Group sustainability disclosures using deep accounting and sustainability knowledge.
• Support assurance activities by acting as an interface between auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Define, conduct, and review metric reporting risk assessments.
• Integrate new ESG regulatory requirements and standards into business-as-usual processes.

Requirements

• Qualified accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• 10+ years of work experience in Financial Services or an accounting firm.
• Strong controlling experience within a financial institution.
• Solid accounting background with knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP.
• Proven experience in sustainability reporting and knowledge of ESG disclosure frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in change management.
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end projects.
