Sustainability and Risk Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the risk management process for projects
• Responsible for risk management implementation and scheduling
• Document and report on risk management
• Facilitate risk management workshops and support risk handling in project groups
• Coordinate and guide the practical implementation of project sustainability goals
• Report, monitor, and document sustainability-related information
• Coordinate circular economy planning and material investigations
• Support low-carbon goals through infrastructure assessment, Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), and emission calculations

Requirements

• Experience in sustainability and risk management roles within Väylävirasto projects
• Ability to apply circular economy solutions in infrastructure construction
• Knowledge of recycled materials, mass circularity, and carbon footprint data
• Understanding of permit and authority processes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Finnish and English
• Strong O365 proficiency and project coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in designing Väylä infrastructure projects
• Expertise in emission calculations and life cycle management
• Facilitation experience and stakeholder network knowledge
• Solution-oriented and business-driven approach
