About the Company

Watershed is the enterprise sustainability platform. Companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens use Watershed to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for voluntary and regulatory reporting including CSRD, and drive real decarbonization.

Responsibilities

• Advise sustainability leaders at leading companies on advancing sustainability programs, including target-setting, decarbonization, and regulatory reporting.
• Build sustainability intelligence by staying ahead of emerging frameworks, regulations, and market developments.
• Translate sustainability trends and regulatory changes into actionable guidance for internal teams and customers.
• Help develop new products and services by exploring sustainability needs in emerging topics and industries.
• Prototype solutions at the intersection of sustainability, advisory, and technology.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
• At least 2 years at a consulting firm in client-facing roles.
• At least 4 years in sustainability.
• Expertise in corporate decarbonization and climate frameworks (GHGP, PCAF, SBTi, ISO).
• Familiarity with reporting frameworks (CSRD, CCDAA, ASRS, TCFD, CDP).
• Strong ability to present complex analyses to C-suite audiences.
• Ability to work from the New York City office 4 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or decarbonizing physical supply chains.
• Previous experience in SaaS climate tech.
• Advanced degree in sustainability, climate science, or environmental engineering.
• Fluency in English, Spanish, French, or German.
