About the role
Responsibilities
- Run the day-to-day operation of the sushi station in the kitchen
- Prepare food items per guest orders following recipe, production, portion, and presentation standards
- Maintain food items according to all health code standards
- Maintain a positive, upbeat role and exemplify company values
- Respond to internal and external customer needs in a friendly and efficient manner
- Develop and promote teamwork and cooperation among co-workers
- Comply with established safe work practices and safety training
- Assist teams laterally across all departments to ensure seamless guest flow
Requirements
- Food handler’s certification
- Minimum one year related work experience
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage competing priorities
