Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi rolls and specialty items
- Maintain consistent quality, freshness, and portion standards
- Manage sushi station setup, mise en place, and daily prep
- Ensure all seafood and ingredients meet quality standards before use
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to support smooth service
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a sushi or Japanese kitchen
- Proficiency in traditional and modern sushi techniques
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
