About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and prepare fresh sushi products to company standards
- Recruit, train, and lead a team to ensure high performance
- Manage stock, waste, and daily kiosk operations
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance
- Ensure accurate product labelling for allergen compliance
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the workspace and storerooms
Requirements
- Experience in leading people and building team capability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead by example
- Strong understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations
- Highly organised with a focus on forward planning
- Reliable transportation for early morning shifts (starting as early as 6am)
- Ability to prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including raw fish
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercially minded and motivated by results
- Previous management or leadership experience in a food environment
- Passion for food and customer service
