About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the internal technical reference for topography across a network of approximately 40 sites in the Northern region.
  • Perform cartographic updates and control operational progress plans for extraction, reclamation, and stock areas.
  • Execute volume calculations for extraction, site redevelopment, and inventory management.
  • Conduct field layouts and implantations of markers and industrial elements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support for land development projects through the creation of regulatory plans and calculations.
  • Manage technological tools, including drone piloting for site photography and surveying.
  • Supervise external surveying experts, drone service providers, and civil engineering companies.
  • Translate field data into actionable 2D/3D plans and manage associated databases.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Security policies on all sites.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience as a surveyor-topographer.
  • Educational background: BAC +2 / BTS or DUT in Topography.
  • Proficiency with Trimble and Leica measurement instruments (GPS poles, theodolites).
  • Advanced operational skills in AutoCAD, Covadis, and Pix4D (Matic and Survey).
  • Proven ability to pilot professional drones for topographic surveys.
  • Valid driving license (Permis B) for frequent travel across regional sites.
  • Strong ability to manage and coordinate external specialized contractors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in quarry exploitation or land management sectors.
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex technical data to diverse stakeholders.
