Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate parameters are entered into navigation and hydroacoustic system software
• Operate and maintain all Survey equipment onboard the vessel
• Prepare and update cable interconnection diagrams for Survey Coordinator evaluation
• Coordinate operations between ROV, vessel, and surrounding units
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and maintain maintenance logs
• Assist ROV and other onboard sectors with Survey equipment maintenance
• Participate in mobilization and demobilization planning and execution
• Manage image distribution systems including ROV, Navipac, Sonar, HIPAP, and Video Link
• Monitor inventory of spare parts and consumables
• Complete technical reports including WRF, EF, NCR, RDO, and wwDPR

Requirements

• Technical degree in Electronics, Civil/Road Construction, Electrotechnics, IT, or Data Processing
• Higher education in Oceanography, Cartography, Geology, Marine Biology, or Geography
• Experience in the Survey field
• Proficiency with Navipac, Sonar, HIPAP, and Video Link
• Knowledge of Cartography and basic IT
• Skills in Risk Analysis and Environmental Awareness
• Advanced English proficiency
