Surveying Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform data capture, post-processing, and data refinement for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects
• Execute a variety of technical tasks including detail surveying, control networks, drone photography, and laser scanning
• Act as a technical advisor to clients, providing expertise on surveying techniques and project specifications
• Conduct field work and travel to project sites as required
• Contribute to business development, technical evolution, and strategic problem-solving as a senior team member

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field (Geodesy, Geographic Information, or similar)
• Several years of professional experience in geographic information or geodesy, preferably within a consultancy environment
• Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, including detail surveying and control networks
• Fluency in Swedish (both written and spoken) to communicate technical requirements clearly
• Valid Driver's License (Category B)

Preferred Qualifications

• Trafikverket authorization for surveying (Type 1 or 2)
• Specialist knowledge in tunnel, railway, or control network surveying
• Experience with reality capture methods such as SLAM, UAV, or advanced laser scanning
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
