Responsibilities

• Supervising checking and testing of survey equipment and software prior to project
• Coordinating and managing the mobilisation of survey equipment and software on vessel
• Managing the flow of data from calibration through logging and quality control
• Developing project procedures and assisting in project preparation
• Managing project work scope and adhering to contractual aspects offshore
• Providing guidance and supervision to the Offshore survey team
• Ensuring all personnel meet company requirements for competence, health, and safety
• Communicating daily with the Project Manager and liaising with client representatives
• Managing subcontractor field teams and carrying out offshore appraisals
• Completing daily and end-of-project reporting
• Implementing and maintaining survey standards and offshore QHSE
• Ensuring all data is backed up and submitted in agreed formats

Requirements

• Post Secondary Education in Hydrographic Survey, Geomatics, or similar
• At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Surveyor
• Experience in acting Party Chief or Party Chief duties
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Document Control Systems
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience in Incident Investigation & Reporting
• Leadership communication skills
