Survey Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce surveying procedures, standards, and QA/QC protocols for the airport program
• Oversee topographic, construction, and geospatial surveys for airfield infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, and terminals
• Manage field survey teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection and delivery
• Implement and maintain survey databases, GIS platforms, and digital models for project coordination
• Leverage advanced technologies such as GNSS/GPS, total stations, LiDAR, UAVs, and 3D laser scanning
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary survey team, fostering technical excellence and professional development
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and airport authorities to ensure survey strategies support project milestones

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in surveying specifically for airport, airfield, or aviation infrastructure projects
• Proven experience managing survey teams on large-scale civil or aviation projects
• Expert-level proficiency with GNSS/GPS, total stations, LiDAR, UAVs, and GIS software
• Strong understanding of airport construction sequencing and aviation safety requirements
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or specialized certification in survey management
• Professional certifications such as RICS, CPEng, or equivalent
• Experience with BIM, 3D modeling, and digital surveying platforms
• Knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract standards in construction projects
