Survey Lead

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and ensure safe execution of survey activities across all projects and vessels
• Act as the primary interface between BSSL and survey service providers
• Support commercial departments with tender opportunities and survey solutions
• Develop and implement the BSS Remote Operations Centre (ROC)
• Define and standardize processes for remote and hybrid survey delivery, including data QC and reporting
• Support equipment preparation, including pre-mobilization audits and certification
• Maintain a well-qualified survey workforce via survey providers

Requirements

• Recognized qualification in surveying, hydrography, geomatics, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years offshore experience at Senior Surveyor or Party Chief level
• Demonstrable understanding of survey and ROV systems integration
• Proven experience in survey-related project engineering or subsea operations
• Working knowledge of IMCA and relevant industry standards
• Experience with frame agreements and external vendor coordination
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
