Survey Engineer

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art survey equipment to collect, analyse, and record data
• Prepare and maintain survey logs, documentation, and reports
• Monitor real-time displays, calibration, data plots, and charts
• Ensure equipment and parts are available and in excellent working condition
• Report safety hazards, deficiencies, or incidents using appropriate systems
• Collaborate with onshore/offshore personnel, ROV crews, and management
• Support vessel mobilization and demobilization
• Install, configure, and license software packages
• Test and repair survey sensors

Requirements

• Background in electronics, data technology, surveying, or similar fields
• Experience in the offshore industry or survey operations
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints
• Permanent residency in the UK is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with photogrammetry or digital twinning
• Knowledge of floating wind positioning systems
