Survey Application Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Translate complex user workflows into functional software designs and optimal user experiences
• Define innovative testing strategies and design comprehensive test cases for new developments
• Spearhead external Beta user engagement to capture early feedback and integrate real-world insights
• Champion Agile development methodologies in collaboration with global, distributed engineering teams
• Identify, log, and verify application defects to ensure elite product quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• Hands-on proficiency with Geomatics, Surveying, or Construction software applications
• In-depth, practical understanding of Land Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, and Geospatial workflows
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills with a highly-motivated, autonomous drive
• Experience working within Agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of AutoDesk, ESRI, or Trimble Geospatial products
• Strong background or experience in exploratory testing of software applications
