Surgical Technologist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile operating rooms and surgical environments
• Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating instrumentation and supply needs
• Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts in collaboration with circulating staff
• Assemble, clean, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and trays
• Support OR setup, equipment readiness, and supply inventory management
• Participate in workflow development and regulatory readiness for accreditation
• Maintain compliance with all ASC, safety, and infection prevention standards

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in perioperative, PACU, OR, or a related surgical setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
• Experience in dental, oral and maxillofacial, ENT/Otolaryngology, or facial and cosmetic surgery
