About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures
- Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide postoperative care
- Document patient encounters and surgical procedures accurately
- Maintain clean and stocked operatories
- Perform monthly office safety and compliance checks
- Maintain controlled substance safety protocols and documentation
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic life support certification (training provided if needed)
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and analytical
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous dental experience
- Experience as an oral surgery assistant or dental assistant
- Some college education
