Surface & Underground Fitters

Responsibilities

• Carry out specialised repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance on Epiroc's range of surface and underground mining equipment
• Perform service and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and RCS systems
• Solve complex equipment-related issues through diagnostic fault finding
• Comply with Epiroc and customer SHEQ and WHS requirements
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and team members
• Provide high-level technical product support to customers

Requirements

• Relevant trade qualifications
• Extensive experience in the maintenance of heavy mobile mining equipment
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and fault find complex mechanical and hydraulic problems
• Experience with hydraulic repairs and diagnostics
• Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications
• Epiroc surface or underground product experience is highly regarded
• Allison transmission experience is preferred but non-essential
