Surface Mount Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain SMT equipment including screen printers, glue machines, reflow ovens, placement machines, and stencil cleaners
• Interface with complex machine hardware and software to support Printed Circuit Board Assembly processes
• Identify and report defective components and ensure product meets established workmanship standards
• Inspect own work to ensure accuracy and maintain data logs and work-in-process accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and surrounding workspace
• Participate in quality teams and may assist in training other employees
• Work the 3rd shift schedule: Sunday – Thursday (11:00pm – 7:30am)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• US Person status as defined in 22 CFR Part 120.15 (required for ITAR controlled technical data)
• Basic computer skills
• ESD Training

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in SMT equipment operation
• IPC-A-610 Certification
• Knowledge of component identification and nomenclature
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, if necessary
