Surface Analysis Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate Surface Analysis instruments to support customer analysis requests
• Perform sample preparation, equipment setup, and data collection
• Review measurement data and summarize results for engineering teams
• Assist in developing methods and procedures to optimize in-lab operations
• Follow laboratory and equipment-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborate with engineering to support process qualifications and yield improvements

Requirements

• 1+ years of semiconductor processes knowledge and lab experience
• 1+ years of experience with hands-on operation of analysis equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work for long periods sitting at instruments and handling small samples
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of college, technical school, or equivalent experience
• Experience with specific analysis equipment such as XPS, AFM, SEM, EDS, EBSD, FTIR, or Raman
