Surety Underwriting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Propose and approve the issuance of new surety bonds by evaluating economic, financial, and asset-based risks.
• Assess the technical and operational capacity of contractors.
• Apply underwriting principles and procedures for new risks or modifications to existing contracts.
• Propose and approve technical risk pricing.
• Manage and monitor the existing risk portfolio.

Requirements

• University degree in Law or Economics.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within insurance companies or brokerages.
• Strong knowledge of the surety business and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial statements for companies and entities.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Strong analytical skills to solve complex challenges.
• Ability to work flexibly in an evolving international environment.
