Surety Associate Underwriter

Responsibilities

• Propose and approve the issuance of new insurance bonds by evaluating risk through economic, financial, and asset-based analyses.
• Assess the technical and operational capacity of contractors.
• Apply underwriting principles and procedures when subscribing to new risks or modifying existing contracts.
• Manage a portfolio of surety risks to ensure adequate risk management for both new and existing clients.

Requirements

• University degree in Law or Economics.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar professional context.
• Excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical skills to tackle complex challenges and find effective solutions.
• High level of flexibility and adaptability to thrive in an evolving international environment.
