About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching, education, and skill-building to support individualized housing stability and community integration.
  • Deliver services using SAMHSA Evidence-Based Practices through a person-centered, trauma-informed lens.
  • Screen individuals for eligibility, complete housing needs assessments, and assist with lease negotiation and maintenance.
  • Guide participants in developing independent living skills such as budgeting, organization, and time management.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with landlords and community partners to expand housing access.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, data collection, and reporting in compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure wraparound support for participants.

Requirements

  • AA degree in a related field (e.g., Human Services, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or Public Health).
  • 2 years of experience working with individuals facing behavioral health challenges.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Agency Affiliated Counselor credential.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a Certified Peer Counselor Credential through the WA DOH.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in a related field.
  • Experience working within state substance use residential treatment facilities.
  • Experience supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
