About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide practical, person-centred support to participants, including assistance with appointments, transport, and day-to-day needs.
- Support participants with intake, registration, and necessary paperwork to ensure smooth access to services.
- Assist with the implementation of case plans that are sensitive to cultural strengths and individual needs.
- Conduct participant inductions and provide outreach support as required.
- Participate in group work and basic life skills coaching to support individuals and families.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and promote effective service delivery.
Requirements
- Relevant diploma or certificate in a related field.
- Current valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a driver's licence.
- Strong listening skills and a positive, person-centred approach.
- Basic administrative, written, and verbal communication skills, including familiarity with databases and mobile technology.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures and work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
