About the role

Responsibilities

  • Holding a caseload of Early Help families
  • Carrying out home visits and completing assessments
  • Developing support plans and delivering targeted interventions
  • Working with children and families below the threshold for statutory social care intervention
  • Identifying safeguarding concerns and escalating cases to Children's Social Care where appropriate
  • Recording all casework using Liquid Logic (LCS & EHM)

Requirements

  • Experience in Family Support or Family Intervention
  • Experience in Early Help services
  • Experience with Child in Need (CIN) or assessment work
  • Experience supporting vulnerable children and families
  • Ability to complete assessments and manage caseloads
