Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Support child development, inclusion, and participation within the Kindergarten 2 learning environment
• Work closely with designated children and room educators to maintain an outstanding learning environment
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Kindergarten 2 room, working 5 days per week
• Foster a fun-loving and supportive atmosphere for all children in the care of the centre

Requirements

• ACECQA approved Certificate III in Children’s Services
• Proven experience as an Educator within an early childhood service (0-5 years)
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
