Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide campus end-user service support for the operations, repairs, troubleshooting, training, and maintenance of production and worship technologies
• Assist with the research, design, and implementation of AVL systems across various project scopes
• Create and maintain a technology education system and training materials for in-person and online experiences
• Contribute to vendor planning and negotiations for service technology and product selection
• Support the management and prioritization of audio, video, lighting, and service technology systems
• Develop leadership training systems to cultivate potential team and volunteer leaders
• Build and maintain relationships with other departments and ministry partners

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent in electronics, communications, media, production, music, or management
• 2 years of experience in AV broadcast, music, or a live show environment
• Ability to operate medium+ sized AV systems
• Ability to remain calm and respectful in stressful situations
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
