Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide skills training and development to clients in group and individual settings based on person-centered treatment plans.
• Manage crises and perform emergency interventions, including CPR and approved physical safety techniques.
• Document client care, progress, and billing accurately and in a timely manner.
• Report client successes, challenges, and progress assessments to the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Maintain a safe environment through ongoing assessment and intervention as directed by treatment plans or medical orders.
• Provide client transportation in company or personal vehicles as directed by the treatment team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of behavioral health experience, OR an Associate or Bachelor's degree in human services.
• Valid Indiana driver's license that meets organizational driving policy requirements.
• Proven crisis intervention skills.
• Basic computer skills and strong interpersonal communication.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to provide hands-on client care and perform physical safety interventions.
