Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with medical, physical, cognitive, and socioemotional needs in completing daily activities
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, meal prep, cleaning, and leisure to promote independence
• Administer medications in accordance with MAP regulations
• Report significant health, behavioral, or psychiatric concerns
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks and report maintenance or safety issues

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Experience working with intellectually disabled or brain injured adults
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
• Ability to drive residence van
• Maintenance of a personally owned vehicle
