Support Services Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise business, property, and dietary functions to maintain a safe and dignified environment for clients and staff
• Oversee facility maintenance, renovations, property projects, and custodial services
• Manage procurement of goods for dietary and custodial services
• Provide day-to-day direction, training, and supervision to assigned reports including Business Manager, Cook, and Janitor
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety practices, Employment Standards, and organizational policies
• Assist with budget creation and monitor monthly financial statements to ensure adherence to budget
• Manage staff scheduling, recruitment, and performance reviews
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and client files

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience overseeing business and property management functions in a facility
• Demonstrated leadership and staff supervision experience
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Emergency First Aid & CPR certification
• Non-Violence Certificate and Mental Health First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to provide a satisfactory Protected B Clearance
