Support Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, and modify systems by replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components
• Oversee assembly, disassembly, or overhaul processes
• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
• Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate and repair faults
• Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components
• Document procedures and processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements
• Oversee training and work under general direction

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment
• Ability to work all shifts of a 24/7 work schedule
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Maintenance Programs and Operating Procedures
• Experience as a Collateral Duty Inspector
• General automotive servicing experience with electrical, hydraulic, and internal combustion engine backgrounds
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Applications
