About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized first and second-line technical support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators and escalators.
- Act as a technical expert in troubleshooting and resolving complex operational issues in the field.
- Support the Service Supervisor by managing subcontractor tasks, directing teams, and assisting with preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Provide technical advisory to customers regarding equipment usage and system updates.
- Perform corrective and preventive repairs to ensure safe and continuous equipment operation.
- Generate detailed technical reports and provide feedback on equipment performance.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field (Technical or Technological profiles with demonstrable industry experience will be considered).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support, maintenance, or installation of elevators, escalators, or vertical transport equipment.
- Proven experience providing technical service with direct customer contact.
- Strong technical diagnosis skills for electronic, mechanical, and electrical failures.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of elevator and escalator system operations.
- Proficiency with PLCs, controllers, and industrial automation systems.
- Familiarity with diagnostic software and maintenance management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
