Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex, high-impact bugs, including JVM/memory leaks and database performance bottlenecks
• Develop internal scripts and tools to automate diagnostics and accelerate time-to-resolution
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between product, engineering, and client teams
• Troubleshoot software and infrastructure issues by debugging large codebases using GitHub and Kubernetes
• Identify requirements and design solution architectures to meet business needs
• Write detailed documentation and runbooks to enable client self-service and improve team efficiency
• Analyze processes to recommend simplifications within Service Management

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in Application and Infrastructure Support, Incident Management, and Cloud Operations
• Proven experience within the Banking domain
• Proficiency in .NET or similar technology stacks
• Advanced expertise in relational databases and SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Operations (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of or experience in the lending domain
• Understanding of the DevSecOps model
• Experience with emerging technologies like AI to drive digital transformation
• Mastery of various engineering and development tool suites
