Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise in Echodyne radar products through internal training and roadmap meetings
• Respond to customer technical inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Perform deep-dive data troubleshooting and statistical analysis of captured customer data
• Manage the RMA process for defective or damaged hardware
• Maintain and update support cases within Salesforce.com
• Communicate software and hardware defect resolutions to the Engineering organization
• Stage and prepare radar equipment for field demonstrations
• Travel occasionally (approx. 10%) to customer locations for mission-critical support

Requirements

• Engineering or Computer Science degree
• 2+ years of experience in an equivalent role (internships and military experience welcome)
• Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer communication and follow-up skills
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work onsite during core office hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing customer support tickets in Salesforce.com
• Experience with next-generation defense hardware (radars, radios, EO/IR cameras, etc.)
• Scripting or programming experience, such as Python
• Experience working in a Linux environment
