Responsibilities
- Handle customer support requests that lack prescribed instructions in documentation
- Determine proper escalation paths for novel issues through diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Use scripting languages to investigate customer issues
- Own customer support requests end-to-end, including qualification, triage, and resolution tracking
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the knowledge base
- Respond to automated system alerts and raise stakeholder awareness
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers' technical teams
Requirements
- Experience in technical support, help desk, or customer-facing technical operations
- Proficiency in Linux environments
- Experience with containerization and Docker
- Proficiency in bash/shell scripting
- Working knowledge of a scripting language such as JavaScript or Python
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work on-site five days a week in Vienna, VA
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with software testing or quality assurance
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience querying data via SQL, NoSQL, or other query engines
