About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide individually adapted support to people with disabilities
  • Promote independence and well-being in daily life
  • Support users in their daily routines and activities based on their needs and abilities
  • Work according to personal implementation plans
  • Use clarifying pedagogy and low-affective approach to create security and predictability
  • Work professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget

Requirements

  • Very good proficiency in spoken and written Swedish
  • Good computer skills and experience with documentation
  • Experience working within healthcare and caregiving
  • High school education (e.g., child and leisure program, care and nursing program) or post-secondary education (e.g., support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or relevant university degree)
  • Ability to be relational, calm, and stable
  • Strong collaborative skills and a sense of responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in psychiatry
  • Experience with AKK (Alternative and Augmentative Communication)
  • Experience with low-affective approach
  • Experience working with complex support needs
