Supply Trader

Responsibilities

• Support the procurement of marine fuels from suppliers across Asia
• Negotiate purchase prices and contractual terms to secure competitive rates
• Track market trends and supply chain developments to guide purchasing strategies
• Manage daily operational follow-ups to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers
• Assess and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency
• Administer supplier contracts and agreements in adherence to company policies
• Collaborate with the Business Manager on post-sales activities and delivery coordination
• Build working relationships with customers, barge operators, port authorities, and surveyors

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma with 2–4 years of experience in the Bunker Trading industry
• Ability to multitask in a highly stressed and fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain customer relationships
• Willingness to commit to long hours as required by the role
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Professional presence and absolute integrity
