About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate goods availability in stores and distribution centers
- Use sales forecasts to plan optimum stock across the distribution network
- Place appropriate orders to suppliers and distribution centers
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage order fulfillment and delivery conditions
- Place purchasing orders for all Metro locations including stores, warehouses, and hubs
- Optimize orders for full pallets or full trucks
- Manage customer orders communicated by the store organization
Requirements
- University degree in Economics or Logistics (advantageous)
- Working level proficiency in spoken and written English
- Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
- Excellent MS Office literacy with advanced Excel skills
- Database knowledge is an advantage
