Supply Clerk

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and tools while maintaining accurate stock records
• Count, sort, or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt against requisitions or invoices
• Examine stock to ensure conformance to specifications and organize items by style, size, or type
• Fill orders, issue supplies from stock, and requisition articles to replenish bench stock
• Compile reports regarding inventory consumption, adjustments, spoilage, damage, and shipment refusals
• Maintain inventory records and manage the distribution of stock to production workers
• Determine optimal storage methods considering temperature, humidity, and weight limits
• Maintain shop tools in working condition and manage the signing in/out of tool kits
• Operate a forklift as required to move or transport materials

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of related experience in a warehouse or storage environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain necessary clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust U.S. Government Clearance
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift
• Familiarity with Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S)
• Experience with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)
• Experience with Enterprise, Environmental, Safety, Occupational Health-Management Information System (EESOH-MIS)
