Supply Chain Technician

About the Company

Cowboy Space Corp. is building the infrastructure to power and connect the orbital economy. Our satellites operate in Low Earth Orbit to collect sunlight and enable a new class of capabilities—from powering on-orbit compute, to transmitting energy via infrared lasers.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipping, receiving, and domestic/international freight for specialized hardware
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and implement systems like Kanban to prevent stock-outs
• Organize and maintain lab spaces, ensuring equipment is properly tracked, calibrated, and available
• Partner with engineering teams to streamline the source-to-shelf lifecycle for rapid prototyping
• Track and manage high-value assets and materials across internal systems
• Support day-to-day logistics and operational workflows across lab and production environments

Requirements

• Must be a 'U.S. Person' as defined by ITAR and EAR regulations
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or production support
• Familiarity with handling sensitive hardware, including ESD or cleanroom protocols
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use material handling equipment
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems for inventory tracking and purchase order management
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting hardware or engineering teams in fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with supply chain processes in high-reliability industries
• Prior experience in aerospace, space, or other advanced hardware sectors
• Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams
