Supply Chain Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily purchasing activities and manage purchase orders
• Support buyers in shortage mitigation, pull-ins, and push-outs
• Intervene directly on critical shortages and high-risk materials
• Lead supplier recovery planning for delivery, quality, and capacity issues
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQ, and service level commitments
• Develop and maintain Long-Term Agreements (LTAs)
• Partner with Engineering on cost reduction and alternative sourcing
• Supervise purchasing and supply chain personnel and set priorities
• Coach team in ERP utilization and procurement strategy
• Monitor metrics including material shortages, past-due POs, and rush expenses

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain in manufacturing
• 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience managing supplier performance and material availability
• Experience supporting new program launches or sustained production
• Strong ERP systems experience (JobBOSS, Infor SyteLine, or equivalent)
• Advanced Excel capability; Power BI experience preferred
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
