About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor staff attendance and ensure correct PPE usage
- Oversee employee training according to departmental requirements
- Ensure departmental KPIs are achieved and toolbox tasks are completed
- Adhere to departmental SOPs and process compliance checks
- Maintain Health and Safety regulations and end-of-shift housekeeping
- Manage departmental registers and scheduled overtime
- Provide daily feedback to the Shift Manager regarding KPIs, staff complement, and training
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience in a Logistics/Distribution environment
- Grade 12 qualification
- Beginner computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong numeric and verbal reasoning ability
- Basic knowledge of Labour Legislation
- Warehouse and operational environment knowledge
