Supply Chain Specialist

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development of written policies and procedures to improve supply chain efficiency and compliance
• Support the definition and tracking of KPIs and performance metrics
• Support demand planning and forecasting aligned to school needs and calendars
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion of large-scale projects
• Assist in developing and managing sourcing and procurement strategies (RFPs, RFQs, contract negotiation)
• Develop optimum inventory levels and establish customized distribution models
• Upgrade processes to best-in-class standards
• Drive down total costs of distributing and handling goods through process efficiency
• Manage inventory movement between locations and track materials across the network

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in supply chain management
• Meaningful sourcing and procurement experience
• Strong distribution and fulfillment skills
• Relevant undergraduate degree
• Experience in or solid understanding of Project Management

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced business degree
• Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM
