Supply Chain Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and negotiate terms and conditions of supplier contracts.
• Manage the full procurement life cycle from RFP through final delivery and contract closeout.
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and distribution capabilities.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and evaluate vendor/subcontractor proposals.
• Monitor shipments with the logistics team to ensure on-time delivery and resolve undelivered goods issues.
• Resolve escalated or disputed contract issues and provide legal communication to the team as needed.
• Leverage vendors across multiple procurements to create cost savings for projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in contracts and supply chain functions.
• 4+ years of direct negotiation experience with suppliers.
• Proven experience managing the RFP process and contract development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Ability to travel for training and future project site visits as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP.
• Experience working closely with engineers, estimators, and logistics teams.
