Supply Chain Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop regional strategies for localizing battery pack and Energy Storage sub-components in North America
• Develop a North American supply base through sourcing, onboarding, and price negotiation
• Execute sourcing strategic initiatives for components including Aluminum Pack Housing, Electronics, and BMS
• Implement annual cost reduction targets and promote VA/VE plans
• Manage cost models, supply chain layout optimization, and capacity analysis
• Support commodity management through APQP, PPAP, and agile processes
• Conduct Supplier Business Reviews and manage strategic supplier relationships
• Manage purchasing contracts and order processing
• Build and implement SAP systems for the North America region

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in automotive, mechanical, electronics, or chemical engineering
• Basic purchasing experience in automotive, Energy Storage, or manufacturing
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Knowledge of automotive standards like IATF16949 or VDA
• Understanding of APQP and PPAP processes
• Knowledge of global trade rules, import/export, FTA, and HS CODE
• Strong negotiation and coordination skills
• Excellent spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related engineering field
• Experience with battery pack components or power electronics
• Mandarin or Chinese working experience
• Market intelligence of supply bases in North America and China
