Supply Chain Specialist

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and follow up on purchase orders with intercompany plants and external suppliers
• Coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Monitor open orders, shipment status, lead times, and critical supply risks to maintain continuity of operations
• Support import and export processes by coordinating documentation, customs clearance, and logistics activities
• Track backorders, expedite critical materials, and collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, and Sales teams to resolve supply issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, logistics, or materials management
• Experience managing purchase orders, supplier follow-up, and material availability
• Knowledge of import/export processes, international logistics, and supplier coordination
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Advanced English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and international suppliers
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international transportation processes
• Experience supporting supply chain operations across multiple countries or regions
